     There are many adaptive technologies for students with disabilities, some which I knew about and others that i just heard/learned of in the chapter and in the podcast. One that I found interesting was, Talented and Gifted Students, (TAG). I did not know or did not remember this was grade school so i thought it was a really good adaptive technology to read up on. "For talented and gifted (TAG) students, computer technology can provide access to information and stimulating resources at appropriately challenging levels. Although gifted students do not need support or remediation for minimal skills, they do need continual challenges to maintain interest and motivation to meet their personal potentials. Problem solving, simulations, and interactive experiences are of particular benefit to challenge and engage TAG learners" (67). More information can be found in the book on this page and in the podcast. 
     Power point can be used for students at every level to help get information across, not just students with disabilities but for every type of student. However, it may be even more important to use Power point for students with disabilities to help get your point across and keep them focused. Having a aesthetically pleasing Power point will help them watch, but make sure not to get too fancy or it may distract them, and they have specific things that may help them remember. For example, they might be able to recall certain lessons based on colors, lesson four is pink and lesson 2 is green. This might help students keep the ideas straight in the heads and help them to retain what you put on the power point.

Today is about the Web 2.0 tools and what are not allowed in classroom. We were assigned to listen to a podcast about the issue and write about which one we would have liked to use and why some of the tools are no longer allowed; however, i was not able to open up the podcast and could not find it online.      I did some research online about Web 2.0 tools since the podcast link was not working and I found a tool that I like and might use in my future classroom. It's a mapping tool called, Popplet and it allows students to work and collaborate with other students.      To find a teachers website page I went to my old high school's website to see if they had anything like this for their teachers because I did not remember them having a website. I did find though, that they have on their website a picture of every teacher and a link with their name that connects you to a page with their information on it. There was not much on their other than, their name, subject they taught, and their email.
