ILP Class Dojo Prezi

So I choose Class Dojo and made a presentation on Prezi. I was unaware that PreziNext no longer has the voice recorder attachment and therefore I could not upload the voice recording from voice thread. Instead I made a recording of the document with me explaining the steps to Class Dojo. I  have uploaded them both below:

It is a nice presentation of intro to Class Dojo! However, you forgot to make the recording public. Looking forward to hear the voice over.

I made the video public and hared it with you. It is a recording because Prezi Next does not allow voice recording on their PowerPoint anymore so I had to do some other way to add a voice over.

I have used Microsoft (MS) Word for many years now, I use it daily just about. I mostly use it to write papers and use notes; though, sometimes for miscellaneous things that are not related to school, which is not that usual. Without MS Word, college would have been very different and I would not have been able to get papers done, notes takes, or turned in paper on many software devices that check for plagiarism. Though I believe students probably use MS Word than teachers and professors, I still have plenty of teacher that use it often. I have seen all my professors use it, most commonly for syllabi. However, some professors of mine have also used it to write tests, make the calender's for the semester, and posting homework assignments.    I do not have tons of experiences with copyrights and fair use, I was unaware of how much went into it until reading Best Practices for Fair Use in Media Literacy. Now that I understand copyright issues and fair use of materia...

Something that influences teachers to use technology in the classroom is so that it makes their life easier, keeping things, such as lesson plans, organized and in one place. It is much easier to keep all their information in one place and there are many sites on the web that teachers can use for free to keep their lessons plans together and see other teachers lessons plans, as well. It is also beneficial for them to use technology in the classroom because it is strongly encouraged by the government and standards they give teachers. For students, however, technology in the classroom is influenced by other reasons. Most students will be accustomed technology and interested in it, so it is a way gain interest in subject matter. Also, learning styles can vary between students and some students learning style may benefit more from more technology used in the classroom.    The ISTE, is the International Society for Technology in Education, it is a federally funded ini...

Today is about the Web 2.0 tools and what are not allowed in classroom. We were assigned to listen to a podcast about the issue and write about which one we would have liked to use and why some of the tools are no longer allowed; however, i was not able to open up the podcast and could not find it online.      I did some research online about Web 2.0 tools since the podcast link was not working and I found a tool that I like and might use in my future classroom. It's a mapping tool called, Popplet and it allows students to work and collaborate with other students. This could be very helpful in my future classroom, since I am teaching a foreign language, this could help my students work together and figure out how to do their homework and help them remember words and grammar.   https://teaching.pitt.edu/blog/web-2-0-tools-in-teaching-and-learning/      I believe the biggest technology advancement we have made is "t he SynergyNet project funded by the...
